If you’re like me, sometimes it’s tough to care what people think about you. There are some days where you will wake up, not care much at all about what clothes you put on and don’t do a thing with your hair – and that’s perfectly fine. We all know those days. Whether it’s the desire to be comfortable or pure laziness, we can relate one in the same.
In the NBA, there’s typically no time for slacking in that department. It’s more than a game. It’s a business. It’s about presenting an image. Times have changed over the years, but with those changing times comes adaptation and innovation in the fashion industry. For some players, they completely ignore these changes and go their own way. Others, meanwhile, will go with the flow and ensure they show up looking like everyone else.
Well, there are a certain few guys that have taken style to a whole different level; and not just style – the entire presentation of one’s self and the confidence to be able to pull it all off. You may know this to be one definition of the very, very vague term – “swag.”
Whether it is date night with the lady and they are worried about potential fans and paparazzi or they are in a post-game press conference, there are some of these players who care much more than others when it comes to how they present themselves. I think we all know a few of them that may come to mind instantly.
