Kim Kardashian and her two sisters sued again. This time, they were sued for U.S. $ 5 million because promoting weight loss products that have not been proven effective usefulness.

Not only for the Kardashian's family, it also filed a lawsuit to QuickTrim diet pill manufacturers who allegedly counterfeit product efficacy.

The lawsuit is proposed as an objective to create a deterrent Kardashian sisters. The lawsuit was filed, Thursday, March 1, 2012 and then in federal court in New York.

The plaintiffs, who lives in New York, California and Florida, states in the lawsuit, the claims made QuickTrim and Kardashian's promotion is false, misleading, and unfounded.

They added, "There is no competent scientific research and reliable support this claim," read the lawsuit as reported by Reuters.

The suit also states, the more dangerous, the main ingredient in the pills are made of high doses of caffeine mixed with herbal ingredients that have never proven to be clinically effective.

Even so, the lawsuit, filed by law firm Bursor & Fisher, must be certified by a judge as a complaint before class action so as not to cause harm to other consumers. It will also be a big lawsuit sought more than U.S. $ 5 million.

Although this news already crowded discussed, yet there is one representative of the Kardashian's family and the officials of QuickTrim that could be reached for comment about the lawsuit.

This is not the first time Kardashian sued. Kim Kardashian even been sued by her former husband Kris Humphries. Kris Humphries reportedly demanded a U.S. $ 10 million.

Once married to Kim, Humphries was involved in a reality show starring Kim. Humphries claims to have a bigger role than Kim in the series 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York'. Therefore, he was thought to be compensated accordingly.

As is known, Kim Kardashian is one of the reality TV star with the highest paid in the U.S.. In 2010, revenue is estimated at U.S. $ 6 million from her TV show, lines of foam and sponsors a variety of fitness products, beauty products and the support of other products.
