Don Arnold/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Rather than return her wedding gifts to her guests following her brief marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian is showing her appreciation by making a charitable donation on their behalf.
The reality TV star, who was married to Humphries for a total of 72 days before filing for divorce last October, has informed the guests of her decision in a letter obtained by TMZ.com.
Kardashian wrote, "I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift. It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation."
TMZ reports that Kardashian is donating about 200 thousand dollars, or twice the estimated value of the gifts. Sources tell the website that Humphries would prefer she return the gifts in addition to making the donation.
