Christina Cho, the activist who poured cooking flour on Kim Kardashian's jacket and hair during her perfume launch last week is an Korean-American born activist from right here in DeKalb, Illinois. Christina is a strict vegan and has been involved with PETA for many years.
This is not Christina's first activist act, a few years ago she attacked Designer Donna Karan. In 2010 at the Women's Conference in California and while designer Donna Karan was talking about her collection, Christina got on stage, grabbed a mic and said Karan's collection was made with real rabbit fur from China, also at the convention were Michelle Obama, Dr. Jill Biden, Maria Shriver and Oprah Winfrey.
Christina Cho is well known for her bikini protest alongside Bandi Villadolid, where both women got inside a cage and had signs that said "KFC tortured Chicks" in 2005. On January, 2012 she and another activist went topless, in front of a Farmer John sausage processing plant to protest the consumption of meat and what they claim to be the inhumane treatment of animals.
Christina Cho's parents emigrated from Korea and settled in DeKalb, Illinois where their two daughters were born. Christina has been involved in PETA for years and it was allegedly because of her, that her little sister got involved as well. Christina Cho is the older sister of PETA Special Projects Manager Michelle Cho.
Christina has been a long-standing PETA volunteer and has participated in numerous animal rights demonstrations. Although the organization claims that they're not officially affiliated with Christina or the flour bombing, Christina's support and role in PETA has not gone unnoticed. In 2010 she was the recipient of PETA's Nanci Alexander Award (pictured).
Christina Cho's recent activist act for PETA was to pour a bag of flour on Kim Kardashian's head. Cho ran, but got caught. Cho was arrested and released a few hours later after Kardashian said she didn't want to press charges. The reality TV star reportedly changed her mind and will be filing a legal complaint against PETA and Christina Cho.
