Kim Kardashian is taking a break from dating.
The 31-year-old socialite – who split from husband Kris Humphries in October after just 72 days of marriage – is planning to "chill out for a little bit" as she doesn't want to rush into another relationship.
Speaking in an interview with 'Extra', she said: "I'm not dating right now. I don't really care to.
"Obviously, I've learned that I rush into things when I fall in love and get excited. So maybe I should chill out for a little bit."
Kim – who was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 until they divorced in 2004 – is currently filming a guest role for TV show 'Drop Dead Diva'.
But last month, the reality TV star admitted she "absolutely" wants to have kids but not for a few years.
She explained: "Do I want kids of my own? Absolutely. But I don't know if that's what's meant for me. Maybe I'll just work, work, work, and not think about it.' "
