It seems the Kardashian sisters have dug themselves into a hole that they are now squirming to climb out of thanks to promoting a weight loss pill known as QuickTrim that actually doesn't work!
And now they're being sued for making false claims about the pill. Kim even wrote on Twitter a while ago:
"Our QuickTrim cleanse will be massive! Khloe has already lost so much weight."
Unfortunately for the celebrity sisters, it transpires that whatever they thought this pill might be doing for them is a load of hooey because it does absolutely nothing! While there may be some kind of placebo effect going on, in which a person can be made to believe a pill is helping them to the extent where their own minds do the work, the pill itself is almost totally ineffective as a weight loss treatment. The court papers said:
"The FDA has determined [caffeine] is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control."
Backpedaling furiously over the matter, all three girls are now saying they would have never used the diet pills, let alone promoted them had they known the truth. It turns out that in fact, they were simply wasting their time taking the pills and leading energetic lifestyles combined with a healthy diet is far more likely as the real cause of their slim figures.
It is quite common for people to reach out to products that make great claims of being able to help them lose weight as easily as popping a pill. Human nature has us yearning for the easiest way of achieving things, while putting in hard work to get the success we crave is always secondary, at least in most people. Before trying any pills to try and lose weight, you should always first explore a change of diet to include more healthy, fresh and wholesome foods while making sure you get more exercise every day.
