Thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes you sent my way last week. You all put a huge smile on my face at a time I couldn't imagine smiling. I still have my moments, but I'm feeling much better today. I'm going to try work again tomorrow and I'm hoping I can make it a full day. I practiced leaving the house for the first time yesterday and it went well {two trips to Target lol}.
I knew I liked nail polish a lot, but apparently, it's therapeutic lol. All the painting I did was a win/win because it took my mind off things and was a big ol check off my to-do list. The collections I needed to review started piling up while I was pregnant because I was afraid to paint my nails during my first trimester. I'm pretty sure the 3 and 4-free formulas are safe {including OPI}, but after everything we went through to get pregnant, I thought I'd save it for later.
I hope you all enjoy the new spring Nicole by OPI and Nicole by OPI Kardashion Kolors as much as I enjoyed painting them on my nails. The Kardashian Kolors below are exclusive to CVS, and some of the Nicole by OPI colors are exclusive to Walmart. I listed where you could find each polish. I used two coats of each color and topped with a quick dry top coat.
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor – Paparazzi Don't Preach is a pink peach nude creme nail polish and my FAVORITE of the entire spring options. This shade makes your nails look so healthy, like a fresh from the nail salon manicure {sold exclusively at CVS}.
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor – Ladies In The Limelight is a super bright yellow creme nail polish with a hint of lime. I'm a huge fan of yellow polish this season {sold exclusively at CVS}.
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor – Smile For The Glam-era is a fun plum purple with a pink glitter shimmer. For some reason, I'm a "purple with pink shimmer" fan lately {sold exclusively at CVS}.
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor – One Big Happy Fame-ily is a light purple nail polish with a silver shimmer. I like this color, but the finish is a little too frosty for me {sold exclusively at CVS}.
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor – Back To Reality… TV is another fun purple polish with pink shimmer. I think this is my favorite of the purples with pink shimmer since it's lighter than the other shades, making it the best option for spring {sold exclusively at CVS}.
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor – Our Fuchsia's Lookin' Bright is a bright pink creme nail polish which is so on trend right now {sold exclusively at CVS}.
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor – Strike A Pose is a red coral creme polish. This color is definitely one of my favs {sold exclusively at CVS}.
Nicole by OPI – Fabulous Is My Middle Name {layered over Paparazzi Don't Preach} is a pink, red, purple and silver bar glitter with a silver shimmer. I like bar glitter, but the bars in this are so thin that it looks like confetti. It's not my favorite polish, but I really like the application. There was a lot of glitter in each stroke {sold exclusively at Walmart}.
Nicole by OPI – Best Pink Ever is a bright pink metallic nail polish with a beautiful barely there purple shimmer {sold exclusively at Walmart}.
Nicole by OPI – Shoot for the Maroon is a beautiful plum purple and pink shimmer nail polish. I like it a lot, but I prefer the other purples with pink shimmers better, in particular Back To Reality… TV for spring {no exclusive}
Nicole by OPI – Vio-Let's Talk About Red is a bright violet pink metallic with pink shimmer nail polish. I love the deep saturation of this color {no exclusive}.
Nicole by OPI – A Lit-Teal Bit Of Love is a super bright blue metallic shimmer. This shade of blue is so fun and beautiful {no exclusive}.
Nicole by OPI – A Million Sparkles (layered over Ladies In The Limelight} is a silver, pink and blue bar glitter with small silver sequin glitter and blue shimmer nail polish. This one is just ok for me since I'm not a big fan of the small bar glitters. I did like the application. Just like Fabulous Is My Middle Name, there was a lot of glitter in each stroke {no exclusive}.
Overall, I thought there were a lot of fun colors in this spring collection. My favorites include Paparazzi Don't Preach, Back To Reality… TV, Our Fuchsia's Lookin' Bright, and Strike A Pose.
The brushes in this collection were exactly like the OPI collection I reviewed last week, which I really like because they are wide and hold a lot of polish. All of these colors applied perfectly, including the darker colors. I had no streaking at all.
