In addition to all the movies, the Cannes Film Festival is home to some of the hottest parties of the year.
But one in particular on Thursday night was also for a very worthy cause—the 2012 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala.

The star-studded event, held at the famed Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, was host to the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst, Gerard Butler, Heidi Klum as well as Alec Baldwin and fiancée Hilaria Thomas, just to name a few.
In addition to bringing out big celebs, the shindig also managed to raise nearly $ 11 million in the process, making it the most successful event in amfAR history.
