An interesting thing happened in New Jersey over the three day weekend: Beyonce performed in Atlantic City, and despite a report by MediaTakeOut that B would bring Kim Kardashian out on stage with her, Kim never made an appearence.
That's because the story was the silly fabrication of the folks over at MediaTakeOut, who now claim after the fact that Beyonce had a change of heart and decided at the last minute not to let Kim on stage — but why in the world would Beyonce have ever invited Kim on stage in the first place? That's really the question that needs to be asked; it's not like Kim can dance, sing or really do anything.
The last time Kim was asked to come on stage by a musical act, that musical act told her to "sit yo a** down" after she reluctantly danced on stage for a few seconds. And this is why we love Prince.
To give MTO some credit, Kim was in Jersey this weekend, and she did attend one of Beyonce's concerts, but her access was limited to backstage where she posed in pictures with some of B's backup dancers.
If you believe recent tabloid reports, Beyonce has been giving Kim the cold shoulder since the reality TV star started dating Kanye West, but if that was true, we're sure Beyonce would not have given Kim a pass to hang back stage. They may not be BFFs, but it doesn't mean they're rivals.
And on a somewhat related note, another alleged nemesis of Beyonce's, Jennifer Hudson, also attended the concert … proving once again … most celebrity feuds are tabloid driven — not reality driven.
