The popular American reality TV star Kim Kardashian was literally rejected at the Met Gala held last Monday in New York. The lack of American star was not accidental but indeed, strongly desired. Remember when I wrote that" the reason for the concern on this event by star is definitely because the sponsor or, better said, the shadow of the event is Vogue US, whose importance in the fashion is remarkable"? This is what i mean! The power of Ms. Wintour and so that of a newspaper editor is no longer related only to its employees but to a much wider audience, sometimes also worldwide. The example may be that Vogue that is internatiolnally recognized as an institution in fashion but its leaders really have the world in their hands.
